Blacksburg.Net supports WebTV and has satisfied customers using WebTV.
Rather than calling long distance to the WebTV, we are a local Blacksburg

dial into a Blacksburg.Net number. If you dial into a WebTV network number
at any time during the month, WebTV will charge you the full monthly fee.
How to setup WebTV to use Blacksburg.net (setup
only needs to be done once)
From the initial WebTV screen select "Setup" on the left hand sidebar.
Then select "Dialing"
Then select "Use your own ISP"
If you do not have "Use your own ISP" option contact WebTV Customer Care
at 1-800-GO-WEBTV .
If you have "Use your own ISP" select "Continue" repeatedly until you reach
the login name and password screen
Click the checkbox,
Enter "Blacksburg.net" in the Service provider name box
Enter your Blacksburg.net username in the login name box (the username
must be entered as all lower case, no capital letters)
Enter your password in the password box ( upper and lower case letters
are different and must be exactly as your password was requested with Blacksburg.net).
Enter 953-9015 in the Modem dial-in number box
Enter 200-7741 in the Backup dial-in number box
Choose Done
WebTV will hang up and reconnect if you are currently connected .
Finally please notify Blacksburg.Net of your WebTV email address e. g.
xxxx@webtv.net.
